Psalm 139

Psa 139:1  For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.
Psa 139:2  You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
Psa 139:3  You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
Psa 139:4  Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.
Psa 139:5  You hem me in--behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.
Psa 139:6  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
Psa 139:7  Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
Psa 139:8  If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
Psa 139:9  If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
Psa 139:10  even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
Psa 139:11  If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,"
Psa 139:12  even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
Psa 139:13  For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
Psa 139:14  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psa 139:15  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
Psa 139:16  your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Psa 139:17  How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
Psa 139:18  Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.
Psa 139:19  If only you would slay the wicked, O God! Away from me, you bloodthirsty men!
Psa 139:20  They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name.
Psa 139:21  Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD, and abhor those who rise up against you?
Psa 139:22  I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies.
Psa 139:23  Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
Psa 139:24  See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Josiah has Wii

Indeed blessing rained down on kuya Joshua's family these past few months or weeks or even days, as they received material blessing from people who love them. I praise God for that because few years back kuya's family been through a lot of not good experiences and this includes having nothing not even a peso to buy salt in the store.  But in spite of all those times kuya remain hopeful and trustful to the Lord.  And now is the time for his blessings!

He just received a wii for his family as a gift from someone last Christmas and the wii has wii accessories with it for his two kids to enjoy. My "inaanak" Josiah of course love it the most.  I also pray that someday when I need things God will also do the same. Praise God for He is good and His love endures forever!

Healthcare jobs

Here in the Phils. we have this huge issue about our nurses who paid a lot of money to hospitals just to get the training and certificate needed for their abroad application. It sad because due to poor employment here in our country most of our nurses would like to work abroad for a better salary. I will never blame them because, I myself will definitely do same thing if I'm on their shoes.

A lot of unemployed degree holder people think of getting a healthcare training and certificate because there are lot of  jobs in healthcare abroad and it also promise a good salary. In fact when I was in Canada some friends told me to stay there for good and get a healthcare training and get a healthcare job and I'll be good!

Just thinking!

I am thinking about me, myself and I.
I praise God that in spite of my being a hard headed daughter, He still cares for me.
I felt so blessed!
Thank you dear Lord!

wifi bus

Aside from the chaos that happens to our country today... still there are amazing things happens. In spite of the bus bombing issue its still convenient to ride in a bus  specially when you are going to far places, and your bus has wifi, what could you ask for.  I actually saw this bus that has a wifi in it and was amazed to know that there are buses that has it because it never came to my mind that buses would have wifi someday.

What I am thinking now actually is...: would bus riders indeed avail this wifi benefits thinking that there are some not good people around maybe sitting besides you or behind you watching you as you take out your wifi phone or ipad and other wifi gadget yet thinking of ways to get it from you!

whew! I would never take the risk!

..what I've got today!

After whining from the Lord, this is what I've got from Him this morning when I read a devotional books for teens by NT Anderson and R. Miller.

Genesis 22:1&2

"God is never late, but He's rarely early! : The Lord is faithful. He always provide what we need when we need it. But He doesn't often provide it when we want it --- which is usually five minutes ago!(which just where I was before reading this.)

God simply cannot and will not give in to our demands. He cannot be bargained with. bribed, bullied, threatened, tricked, or convinced against His will.

God alone does what He wants, when he wants and with whom He wants. That's one thing that's make Him God.

SO, stop fighting and start "faithing". Recognized today that God is indeed Jehovah Jireh, your provider. His grace is sufficient for you. In the end you'll look back on how He met your needs and you'll shake your head in amazement. It will be far better than you could ever have concocted yourself."

I have forgotten how intimate God is to His children when He reminds things concerning us. And I fall  flat on my face before God. So I stop whining and start faithing again! This is really hard I know!

How long?!

How long oh Lord.... will you forget me,
how long oh Lord.... will you look the other way.

how long... how long....

Bantatay- a tv fantasy series

Bantatay is a fantasy series in a local tv channel here in the Philippines. It's viewing time is every 6 to 6:30 at night.  This is about a family whose Dad dies and the mom got an amnesia who eventually left her kids alone. The Dad begged God to give him more time in the earth to take care of his kids and look for his missing wife. So God transfered his soul to the Dog which name was Bantay or Bantatay.

Some scene in this tv series show's  dog training guide and they also gives some tips on how we should take care of our dogs. It's a good fantasy series though and in fact it did got an award for best children tv show I think ( or something like that award thing y).

I am not a fan of watching tv series but I love to watch the evening news, so each time I turn our tv on for evening news this series is still on... so I watch it anyway!

God proved me wrong!

Yesterday as I was doing laundry. It came to that once before when I was not married yet... I told my sister that I am going to buy loads of undies because I don't know if I'll be able to buy one when I get married. So as I was staring at the loads of undies I have to wash almost made me cry because I have loads and I bought it when I was already married and in fact I have thrown all the old ones the one I had bought before.

God proved me wrong because... when we remain in Him... He will never allow us to be lacking of anything. In fact, God will give us more than we asked or imagine!

God is indeed great!

Online School.

I miss Greg and Sarah- a couple Canadian friends of ours. They were here two years ago doing community works in Sucat. They were good people and we did have a good relationship. Greg and Sarah went to School here to study Filipino language and went they went back home she return to her old job (she was/is nurse) and Greg went to Bible School, but before he went to formal school he enrolled to an online university or course.

It's easier to enroll to an online university when you need to be at home but need to do an online course too. This is actually good for WAHM (working at home moms).

The Source

It's Saturday today and yet hubby and I are here in the office checking my mails and facebook and of course blogging. I just feel lucky since this place is close to our house... even though that in few days it won't be anymore.
My mind wander over gadgets though and one thing that I drool about is this samsung gravity. If I only have a lot of money I might have went to the store and get one for myself and one for hubby too. (ooh yeah! I know I am wishing upon a star :( because I know it won't happen specially now that I am spending a truck load of money because of house moving.) A formula for my expenses (Christmas holidays + house moving+relatives = overwhelming expenses). Sighhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Wednesday, January 5, 2011 devo today...

Isa 54:1  "Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD.
Isa 54:2  "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
Isa 54:3  For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
Isa 54:4  "Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
Isa 54:5  For your Maker is your husband-- the LORD Almighty is his name-- the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.
Isa 54:6  The LORD will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit-- a wife who married young, only to be rejected," says your God.
Isa 54:7  "For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
Isa 54:8  In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you," says the LORD your Redeemer.
Isa 54:9  "To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.
Isa 54:10  Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
Isa 54:11  "O afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will build you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with sapphires.
Isa 54:12  I will make your battlements of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.
Isa 54:13  All your sons will be taught by the LORD, and great will be your children's peace.
Isa 54:14  In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you.
Isa 54:15  If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you.
Isa 54:16  "See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc;
Isa 54:17  no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD.

..partly moved...

Hubby and I brought some of our stuff to our new house. We did not arrange it yet though, we just put in there. We also painted white our room to make it brighter  because it looks too dark without paint, we are thinking of putting a linoleum on our room floor too. We did make a little makeover since we are hoping to stay there for quite sometime... we are trying to make this house feels home.

We still has a lot of stuff to move and we are just waiting for our team van to be free, and we are hoping that on Sunday we'll be able to move everything so that we still have time to organize things at our new house before the busy days would start.

Though our weekly meeting will start this Thursday and I am hoping that hubby and I are still not in the hot seat (busy sched.) or else we will be forced to wait again for free times before we can totally settle in our new home.

Actually I thought I'm not going to like our new house that much... but as we brought things there and have painted our room, it feels like I am excited now and really ready to move and leave the house I used to like and have loved.

Hubby and I will buy cleaning stuff and toiletries  for the house today. I am excited!
