Barn Moment

When we were in Ontario, we experienced a lot of things we did not experienced or even thought exist when we were in the Phils. Friends brought us to places we never imagined and showed things we never knew there was.
A couple friends of ours brought us to their parents farm and showed their barn too. Hubby and I were so mazed for the many cows we saw and also our friends made us ride their dads Argo. It was very fun! I was wondering though how the get their farm equipments accessories, I am wondering too if they went to ATV Accessories to get its accessories and its replacements.
Looking at those seems like cars to us was very cool.

Here I am again

Yes, it is really true that here I am again hoping that when I wake one day my body look and feels just like five years ago when clothes are in medium size.
Here in Siem Reap means more food and a lot of eating every day. Since day one even though we did a lot of work we also did a lot of eating.
I am still hoping that when I get back to the Philippines I'll be able to lose weight and hoping too that I can find a good weight loss pill review so that I'll be encourage or motivated to get one.
Its hard because when you start to get bigger... you'll never stop! (hahah)

Sports Fest in Cambodia

Hygiene clinic is just over. We did it today, we start at nine o'clock in the morning at the first village catering to less than fifty children. We finished earlier than expected, had our lunch and proceed to the second village which has more than fifty kids.
We came back to the friendship center happy and feeling good knowing we had made the children and their parents day beautiful and clean today.

Tomorrow is another day again, a day of fun because its our sport fest day, and it is the day the youth is waiting for. Awhile ago we make sure that the sports trophies that we brought are still good because we bought form the Philippines and was put on some luggages to brought it here in Siem Reap, Cambodia. We were glad that nothing happens and all is still in good shape and could make some young people smile. :)

We can't wait for tomorrow!

Flight Blues...

After our sixteen hours flight from Toronto to Taipei, I felt like I don't appreciate longer flights anymore. Whew! it was the most uncomfortable place in the whole world for such a long time (not thinking of those who are now in extreme situation though). I don't know what to do with myself with such a small space. My bum and back hurts because of sitting the whole time.
So... because of so much boredom I choose the small tv as my friend and I watched for movies. What interest me in all the movies that I have seen was this man in one movie whose body was really big and has big muscles too. I wonder though what he does to build muscle fast and I have seen ladies who has build muscles too. Just wondering if too much workout and pills did that or is it safe to take pills to build muscles? well.. this is just me and my thoughts.

Need some beauty pampering!

My job is quite stressful and a holiday that was like a whirlwind trip did not help at all. It seems that whenever I look at myself at the mirror I feel like I look a year older.... and it's not good specially when hubby is a way more younger in me in age.
I was really thinking a bout this for quite sometimes too.. of what to do to look younger. I doubt if salicylic acid peel could help me solve my worries.
Plus I really hate to put make up on when I am working outside or doing fieldwork because I sweat a lot and the thing I applied I will just sweat it off too.
I am just praying that God would give me a good feeling and looks each day. :)

Pimples on my forehead

It is really cold here in Elmira or most specially at my friends house because her heater is broken and she has no time to fix it specially now that her husband is away for moose hunting and won't be back till Saturday.  So when  night comes its kind of misery to us (joking).
So with all this coldness here hubby and I sometimes don't shower or wash our face at night and because of that I have a big pimples right in my forehead. I just hope this won't go big and turn into acne for the next thing I'll do is  getting for best acne treatment which I don't feel like doing specially that we are going to some place again, a place which I also know as very hot and I will be sweating for sure because of our intense activities.
I just hope this pimple will go away before we arrive in the Phils.

I need some healthy ones!

Our friend John mother is inviting us for dinner tonight and our friend Liss will be taking us there. I think she will be preparing rice for us and some other typical Canadian food. During our lunch hubby and I had sandwich and a chips. We went to IT to join them for lunch because we are only a floor above from the office doing quilting. Liss mom Pix is a good quilter, so she taught us how to make our own quilt. Hubby and I enjoyed it so much and its not done yet, tomorrow we will go there again to finish our quilt and I am excited.

With all these good food and eating, I think I really need some safe diet pills that work or else I'll go home double my size from the time I came and to think its only a month time. ooh goodness, hoping it won't go that way or else I'll be a month in fasting.

Cambodia Mission Trip

I have to admit that I have quite made a crazy decision, you know why? because just one day after we arrived in the Philippines we are leaving again for Cambodia. It's crazy because we never thought of the jet lag we might have during that time. We thought that we still have three days still and haven't anticipated that we are (in the Phils.) one ahead. We are leaving from here (Toronto) on the 20th and thought of arriving at that same day still but we are not so when we got home  it's already 21st and we are leaving again on the 23rd (early).
I am expecting of a doozy dizzy days ahead of me and I am in a dire need of a  Diet pills that give you energy even in my busiest time of days.
I am hoping of great day ahead of me though. I just hope all is good specially the emotional side because I can definitely cope up some physical tiredness but not the emotional one! Praying things will be fine when we get back.

Diko maiwasan na mag-isip at mag-alala dahil nakasalalay dito ang aming pinagkukunan (in other words: financial support :))

My friend

Just the week that has passed was quite a whirl wind kind of a trip for me and hubby. We went driving the whole time with our host friend.
The best thing that ever happen to me was to finally met Dennis wife Karen in person. She is a lovely lady with a beautiful heart. She has a lupus disease before and she in good shape right now. God has blessed her with a loving husband and good health too.
She said that it was really a hard time when she was going through that illness good thing they have a cheap health insurance in their place and it indeed helped them a lot when it comes with the hospitalization and everything.
I thank God for all the the blessings He poured out for His children.

The temptation to work here in Canada is huge for me and Doy specially when we thought of the money we could earn so that we could buy a house and a car in the Phils. We even day dreaming of that even if God will only give us two years... we could earn huge money.
But as for now we can't leave our missionary work because it where God wants us and doing that give us joy. Hubby's sister was actually telling him to find her a job here, maybe if she would try to apply  for a  health care jobs she might get hired, its hard though but it would worth a try, who knows the Lord will grant the desires of her heart.
As for me and Doy, it may be our heart desire but the Lord's will still will prevail.

Heavy heart!

Hubby and I are sitting right now here at Saskatoon Airport waiting for our flight to Toronto. We really had great  time here not only because its a very beautiful place but mostly because the people we met are very lovely people.
Our host friend Dennis and Karen are amazing couple. They brought us to places we never thought there was and really try their very best to make us warm and welcome.
It made me sad to leave them. This is the very first time I cried walking through airport security or this is the very first time I cried leaving the place I visit.
Definitely Doy and I will going to miss them to the highest level.

Two weddings!

It's almost unbelievable that I went to a wedding last two weeks ago and tomorrow I am going to another wedding again. Can't believe for a two weddings in one trip. The wedding that I have attended last week was quite a different one says some people, its not the typical Canadian wedding and the tomorrow is a another not typical wedding too. It's sad that I did not able see any typical Canadian wedding but its all good too because I know my friends are all very creative so they want their big day to be fun and memorable in their own special way.
My friend whose wedding is tomorrow is already on their place preparing everything and I am pretty sure that everybody whose in the wedding are busy doing things. I have heard from people that if you are in the wedding, the bride and groom gives gifts, I am just wondering too on what kind of groomsmen gifts they would give to the groomsmen. :)

Just got back!

We just arrived from a beautiful place called Banff. This place is located in Alberta Canada. We spend three nights and four days there. Extraordinary is the word that I would like to use to describe the place. I would not like to give details about the place because I would like to save it to my trip blog post.
Aside from the beautiful place is also the irresistible food. That place is full of extraordinary  foods too. I think I gain a lot and even now my tummy is still big from all the food I have eaten.
Goodness, I don't wanna go home double the size... that would be the last thing I would do. So my mind is on thermogenic fat burners today because I am thinking of how am I to lose some pounds in a week.
whew! this would gonna be hard!

Today is Sunday

Hubby and I will be speaking in a Filipino Community church today here in Hamilton. I don't really know what to say... this not means that I have nothing to say... it just I have a lot to say but don't know where to start or how to start.
God has been good to us.... I would be very ashamed with Him if I won't give back the glory.  God is the reason why we are here today. Without is divine intervention this dream of visiting Canada will remain a dream.
