thankful thursday... (interesting day)!

Today is friday but still I would like to post my thankful thursday thanksgiving. I would like to honor God through this.
Today I went blog hopping and kind of read the posts of some blogs that I followed. And to my great dismayed I found something not good (things that I won't share to you), God opened my eyes so that I may see the hurting truth of the blog I thought was best and inspiring... is not really what I thought it was.
I feel naive and the other synonyms of that word. I felt even betrayed or something.
But... I praise God for showing me what is right and not. Reason that I would like to post thankful thursday even though today is friday.
Thank you Lord for being faithful all the time. You are always there for your children in good times... laughing with them, sharing their joy and You are also with them through bad times...carrying and helping them.
I give you Lord praises, honor and glory! There is none like you JESUS!

Every Blessing that YOU poured out...turns back to Praise...!

my preciuos Nicole and hubby.

This past few weeks.... I've been trying to evaluate my works, plans, ministry, my life and my faith (do I really trust God with my daily needs and my life in general.)
Its easy to say I trust God in everything if you have overcame your struggles and fears. But while you are still in the midst of it... its the hardest part.
There are times that I feel useless for God.... but I just dont want to start up a ministry just for the sake of doing something good but not really what you feel like God wants you to do.
I instead chose to work with hubby which is I really vowed on to do. But hubby sometimes just don't need me with his works and if we do work together on something the result will always be amazing, but along the way... I mean during the actual work... there were always be a big fight... that seems would break our relationship apart.
But... its always like that... I kind of... used to such situation. but... to tell you it really sucks. (hahaha)
And now.. we are struggling over finances because we are attending a conference in Macau on feb.8 and we are not yet fully paid for the registration and plus those bills that are about to come to its dues and plus the debt that we need to settle the soonest possible (hahaha). But dont get me wrong I truly believe that God will provide for us (God has proved Himself to me over and over again that He is able.) But... my foolish heart is being just me again... with its human nature thingyyyy!
May the Lord forgive me of feeling this way. I know He will do thing in His own special way and in His time. God never fails and will never be late!
God bless you all!

tag team

I just copied this from one of my co-blogger's post... site that I have already forgotten.
Sorry please.
Next time I happen to visit your blog I'll put your name in here. I am so poor in doing tags... or blogging in general.

Spider (pls. read)

this is a forwarded email I received from a friend that I would like to share to you. (However a pastor blogger told me this is just a myth...meaning not true. however let's just be careful.)

From The South African Medical Association
Really terrifying
Three women turned up at hospitals over a 5-day period, all with the same symptoms. Fever, chills, and vomiting, followed by muscular collapse, paralysis and finally, death.. There were no outward signs of trauma. Autopsy results showed toxicity in the blood. These women did not know each other and seemed to have nothing in common. It was discovered, however, that they had all visited the same Restaurant (Olive Garden , Western Cape ) within days of their deaths. The Health Department descended on the restaurant , shutting it down. The food, water, and air conditioning were all inspected and tested, to no avail. The big break came when a waitress at the restaurant was rushed to the hospital with similar symptoms. She told doctors that she had been on vacation, and had only went to the restaurant to pick up her check. She did not eat or drink while she was there, but had used the restroom That is when one toxicologist, remembering an article he had read, drove out to the restaurant, went into the restroom and lifted the toilet seat Under the seat, out of normal view, was a small spider. The spider was captured and brought back to the lab, where it was determined to be the Two-Striped Telamonia (Telamonia dimidiata), so named because of its reddened flesh color.&nb sp; This spider's venom is extremely toxic, but can take several days to take effect. They live in cold, dark, damp climates, and toilet rims provide just the right atmosphere.. Several days later a lawyer from Jacksonville showed up at a hospital emergency room. Before his death, he told the doctor, that he had been away on business, had taken a flight from Indonesia , changing planes in Singapore , before returning home He did NOT visit (Olive Garden), while there. He did (as did all of the other victims) have what was determined to be a puncture wound, on his right buttock. Investigators discovered that the flight he was on had originated in India . The Civilian Aeronautics Board (CAB) ordered an immediate inspection of the toilets of all flights from India and discovered the Two-Striped Telamonia (Telamonia dimidiata) spider's nests on 4 different planes! It is now believed that these spiders can be anywhere in the country.

So please, before you use a public toilet, lift the seat to check for spiders. It can save your life!

I was making this as my entrecard template. But entrecard wont accept it... because it needs to be 125x125 pixels. I was trying hard how to get the thing.

and instead get this as my template. hahahaha

it is still good... at least to me... hahahaha

To my fellow blogger....

I am sad because instead of follow this blog is says, stop following on mine. I try to figure it out why and to delete it or remove it somehow... but I just can't. I have asked my friend (ate Raquel) to fix it for me... but she doesn't know how to do it to.

And to those who would like to follow my blog... please do so... just don't look at the title there. And if you happen to know the solution please let me know.

Thanks... and God bless!

Old good days!

I woke this morning praying in my bed...prayin' for the sake of it. Then finally, it strucked me... a question of: "why I am praying?. And indeed ask myself why I am doing this?"

When I finally see myself praying just because I am asking for something from HIM.... I stop from praying. I evaluate myself deeply. And started crying because I was rebuked by God.

....after that when my heart was right before the Lord... I started praying again.

The Lord is indeed like a Dad to me. He is always teaching me the right thing to do. I dont know how to live without HIM in my life.

Glory and honor and power belongs only to JESUS!

The Poem

The Poem

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.....
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh a at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God! Held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

what a cutie!

Looking at this very very cute little girl made me want one of my own!
this is Ed's grand daughter.
The Lord is indeed very good!

The helmet! :)

The first time I have set my eyes in this helmet... I fall in love with it. I like the color and everything.
Then...when we got home I put it aside... but was soo happy that I was able to get it. Time came that we need to go somewhere and I have to use finally... but when I put it on... something is not right.. then I felt awkward using it... because I know I look like a construction worker.... hahaha!
So... I ask my husband if he could take a picture of me with the helmet on. hahaha. Indeed I look just like one.
......showing the side view of the helmet....

.....then, the front view....

The Cents

The 57 Cents That Made a History

A sobbing little girl stood near a small church from where she had been turned away because it was too crowded. " I can't go to Sunday School," she sobbed to the pastor as he walked by. Seeing her shabby, unkept appearance, the pastor guessed the reason and, taking her hand, took her inside and found a place for her in the Sunday School class. The child was so touched that she went to bed that night thinking of the children who have no place to worship Jesus.

Two years later, this child lay dead in one of the poor tenement buildings and the parents called for the kindhearted pastor, who had befriended their daughter to handle the final arrangements. As her little body was being moved, a worn and crumpled purse was found which seemed to have been rummaged from some trash dump. Inside was found 57 cents and a note scribble in childish handwriting which read, "This is to help build the little church bigger so more children can go to Sunay School.

For two years she had saved for this offering of love. When the pastor tearfully read that note, he knew instantly what he would do. Carrying this note and the cracked red pocketbook to the pulpit, he tols the story of her unselfish love and devotion. He challenged his deacons to get busy and raise enough money for the larger building.

A newspaper learned of the story and published it. It was read by a realtor who offered them a parcel land worth many thousands. when told that the church could not pay so much, he offered it for a 57 cent payment.

Church members made large subscriptions. Checks came from far and wide. Within five years the little girl's gift had increased to $250,000.00--ahuge sum for that time during near the turn of the century.

Her unselfish love had paid large dividends. When you are in the city of Philadephia, visit the Temple Baptist Church, with a seating capacity of 3,300 and a Temple University, where hudreds of students are trained. Have a look too at the Good Samaritan Hospital, and of course the Sunday School building which houses hundreds of Sunday scholars, so that no child in the area will ever need to be left outside at Sunday school time.

In one of the room of this building may be seen the picture of the sweet face of the little girl whose 57 cents, so sacrificially saved, made such remarkable history. A longside of it is a portrait of her kind pastor, Dr. Russel H. Conwell, author of the book, "Acres of Diamonds."

The Coin

An unemployed graduate woke up one morning and checked his pocket. All he had left was $10. He decided to use it to buy food and then wait for death as he was too proud to go begging. He was frustrated as he could find no job, and nobody was ready to help him. He bought food and as he sat down to eat, an old man and two little children came along and asked him to help them with food as they had not eaten for almost a week. He looked at them. They w ere so lean that he could see their bones coming out. Their eyes had gone into the socket. With the last bit of compassion he had, he gave them the food. The old man and children prayed that God would bless and prosper him and then gave him a very old coin. The young graduate said to them 'you need the prayer more than I do'. With no money, no job, no food, the young graduate went under the bridge to rest and wait for death. As he was about to sleep, he saw an old newspaper on the ground. He picked it up, and suddenly he saw an advertisement for people with old coins to come to a certain address. He decided to go there with the old coin the old man gave him. On getting to the place, he gave the proprietor the coin. The proprietor screamed, brought out a big book and showed the young graduate a photograph. This same old coin was worth 3 million dollars. The young graduate was overjoyed as the proprietor gave him a bank draft for 3 million dollars within an hour. He collected the Bank Draft and went in search of the old man and little children. By the time he got to where he left them eating, they had gone. He asked the owner of the canteen if he knew them. He said no but they left a note for you. He quickly opened the note thinking it would lead him to find them. This is what the note said: 'You gave us your all and we have rewarded you back with the coin,' signed God the Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost.
1 Kings 17:10-16; Matthew 11:28-30 PRAYER:
If you need a financial blessing, pray this prayer;
Heavenly Father, most Gracious and Loving God, I pray to you that you abundantly Bless my family and me. I know that you recognize, that a family is more than just a mother, father, sister, brother husband and wife, but all Who believe and trust in you. Father, I send up a prayer request for financial blessing for not only the person who sent this to me, but for Me and all that I have forwarded this message on to. And that the power of joined prayer by those who believe and trust in you is more powerful than anything. I thank you in advance for your blessings. Father God, deliver the person reading this right now and those who will read it in the near future from debt and debt burdens. Release your Godly wisdom that I may be a good steward over all that You have given me Father, for I know how wonderful and mighty You are and how if we just obey You and walk in Your word and have the faith of a Mustard seed that You will pour out blessings.
I thank You now Lord for the recent blessings I have received and for the blessings yet to come Because I know You are not done with me yet.In Jesus name, I pray, Amen!
God says, "if you draw close to me, I will draw close to you."
Every day, every minute, every breath truly is a gift from God.

Looking back (2008)....Moving forward (2009)

Looking back.... Moving forward.....!

Last year 2008 was the most interesting....most challenging, ever victorious year of my life! It started last year new year's eve.....
....I was just upstairs in the girls room of our missions house because my stomach was so painful.
.....the food, the noise, the laughter I've heard was nothing compare to the pain I felt that time. God only knows how I have suffered that night.
....then new years day came... I was still in pain, and by the way I was already brought to two hospitals who unfortunately was not able to tell what I was undergoing through.
....finally on the night of January first 2008... I was brought to another hospital and the last one too... and the doctors had told my companionsI was very in a critical state and said that I should have brought earlier... or it would be...bye...bye...carmel. And yet I know that God was not finish with me yet...that I still have purpose here on earth. Praise God for an extention of my life! I was in the hospital for almost two weeks...
....while I was there.... Andrew my fiance was worried then on where we should get money for medicine and hospital bills. but lo and behold God had provided it all. (However some people who learned that we are planning to get married on June declared that no wedding will gonna happen because of the huge money I needed for my hospitalization.) But we may have no money and means to spend for things.... we have a GOD who can supply all our needs..., So what we did was we hang on to God's promises and indeed His faithfulness never ends. .

... the month of May came; I went to boracay for free for 3 nights and 4 days. I live in luxury there! (gotta stay in a very nice and quite expensive hotel.)

.....June 3, a friend of mine died too, three days before my wedding. I was mixed emotion by then...don't know what to say or do.

....June 6 came and was the BIG DAY for me and Andrew because this was the day that the Lord has made for us to rejoice. This is the day of a new beginning for another chapter of our life.
....we got married in Casa Blanca, Intramuros Manila @ 5pm. What a happy day!.... the Lord still provides! ....I have an interesting life after I got married. We've got our own place (though rented but its okay.)

...September came... God gave us a motorbike.
...October came... God gave us a brand new laptop.

...December came...finally we've got our financial support from IT, booked a flight for Macau... and of course our grand holiday trip to Anawangin.

Well who says that God forget the lowly people!
...I'm maybe low and needy but my God never forgets me!

....and its only a month now for our trip to Macau on Feb 7, 2009.

To God be all glory and honor! Thank you Lord Jesus!

Psalm 55:22 --- you really need to read this.

Psalm 55:22 --- you really need to read this.

"Friends are God's way of taking care of us."

This was written by a Metro Denver Hospice Physician:

I was driving home from a meeting this evening about 5, stuck in traffic on Colorado Blvd., and the car started to choke and splutter and die - I barely managed to coast, cursing, into a gas station, glad only that I would not be blocking traffic and would have a somewhat warm spot to wait for the tow truck. It wouldn't even turn over. Before I could make the call, I saw a woman walking out of the "quickie mart " building, and it looked like she slipped on some ice and fell into a Gas pump, so I got out to see if she was okay.

When I got there, it looked more like she had been overcome by sobs than that she had fallen; she was a young woman who looked really haggard with dark circles under her eyes. She dropped something as I helped her up, and I picked it up to give it to her. It was a nickel.

At that moment, everything came into focus for me: the crying woman, the ancient Suburban crammed full of stuff with 3 kids in the back (1 in a car seat), and the gas pump reading $4.95.

I asked her if she was okay and if she needed help, and she just kept saying " don't want my kids to see me crying," so we stood on the other side of the pump from her car. She said she was driving to California and that things were very hard for her right now. So I asked, "And you were praying?" That made her back away from me a little, but I assured her I was not a crazy person and said, "He heard you, and He sent me."

I took out my card and swiped it through the card reader on the pump so she could fill up her car completely, and while it was fuelling, walked to the next door McDonald's and bought 2 big bags of food, some gift certificates for more, and a big cup of coffee. She gave the food to the kids in the car, who attacked it like wolves, and we stood by the pump eating fries and talking a little.

She told me her name, and that she lived in Kansas City Her boyfriend left 2 months ago and she had not been able to make ends meet. She knew she wouldn't have money to pay rent Jan 1, and finally in desperation had finally called her parents, with whom she had not spoken in about 5 years. They lived in California and said she could come live with them and try to get on her feet there.

So she packed up everything she owned in the car. She told the kids they were going to California for Christmas, but not that they were going to live there.

I gave her my gloves, a little hug and said a quick prayer with her for safety on the road. As I was walking over to my car, she said, "So, are you like an angel or something?"

This definitely made me cry. I said, "Sweetie, at this time of year angels are really busy, so sometimes God uses regular people."

It was so incredible to be a part of someone else's miracle. And of course, you guessed it, when I got in my car it started right away and got me home with no problem. I'll put it in the shop tomorrow to check, but I suspect the mechanic won't find anything wrong.

Sometimes the angels fly close enough to you that you can hear the fl utter of their wings...

Psalms 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

Here is the prayer:

"Father, I ask You to bless my children, grandchildren, friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace, In Jesus' precious name. Amen."

When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say, "Jesus, could You please get that for me?"
