What happen to me?!?

Every Blessing that YOU poured out...turns back to Praise...!

I was physically and emotionally down this past few weeks and days, reasons why I did not post any personal experiences and other sort of stuff.
I was both frustrated and disappointed... I just dont know why. I was both happy and sad too. happy because I received gift from someone, but sad because I am thinking now what to give back since it Christmas time, knowing shopping would just be a dream to me because starting today life would be very busy.
Another thing...why I am sad is... a not so close friend died just few days ago. Though he was not that close to me...I find a connection with him still as a brother in faith. I will never forget his smile when we visited him at the hospital last monday, he was strong and still joyful, he was even joking. It never came to my mind that he would die too soon. I was actually expecting of seeing him playing his guitar at church again. But alas! his brother texted us yesterday telling us his gone.... forever.
I am overwhelmed with sadness...which I cannot explain why! Each time I remember him...I can't help but cry!
I dont know, I feel that part of me is guilty of things I did not do for him. I dont know, probably God is telling me of something which I pray that I may see clearly.
But I know that he is with Jesus now happy and not suffering from any sickness at all.
May God's name glorified through his death.
.....Gary, will you hug God for me... ..... see you then there dear brother!

You're Fired!

Check this out!...

Have you heard the true story of a teen who went to work in a grocery store after his high-school graduation? A couple of weeks had passed and one evening his dad said, "Son, now lets talk about college."
"Od, Dad, I did't tell you.... I'm not going to go to college."
"You're not going to college? Why?"
"I'm not going to college because I have found my life's work!"
"What do you found your life's work?"
"You know," he said, "I'm driving the truck there and I love delivering groceries. My boss is happy and I just got a raise! It's really a wonderful work."
"Well, son," his dad replied, "You can do something more challenging than that."
"Wait," the sonreturned, "didn't you told me that life is to be happy?"
"Well," the son said, "I'm really happy and that's what I'm going to do. I'm not going to college!" So the dad was the victim of his own myopia. He knew he had to use another approach.
The dad went to the store and told the manager, "John, you're to fire my son."
"What do you mean, fire your son? I've never had a young employee like him. I just gave him a raise. He shines the truck, even...keeps people very happy. He's a great employee!"
"Well, he is not going to college," said the father, "and if you dont fire him you're going to ruin his life."
The groce had to do something. On friday when the teen came to get his check the grocer said, "Just a're fired!"
"What'd I do?"
"You're fired!"
"What's wrong?"
"You're fired!"

"You're fired!"
This teen got the idea...that he was fired! He came home all dejected. He met his dad and said, "All right, Dad, I'll go to college this fall."

Some thirty years later, after this teen had gone on to become the president of one of the leading universities, he told his aging father, "Dad, I want to thank you for the time you got me fired!"

God Reveals Himself!

How Does God Reveal Himself to Us?

How does God reveal Himself to us? He reveals Himself through His Word. God exists in the Holy Trinity of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We are able to meet God only when we believe in our hearts His Word, the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit.
God repeatedly tells us that the Word recorded in the Bible is the very Word of God. Then, what does it mean by “God is Spirit”? (John 4:24) To say God is Spirit entails that God is not a material being. And the Bible also says, “Let all the earth keep silence before Him” (Habakkuk 2:20). We have to listen to Him in silence when He says to us, for He always speaks the truth. Although it is difficult for us to believe that God is Spirit, it is not difficult to know who God is once we know and believe in Jesus Christ who came by the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Just as our hearts turn toward God through the Word of God, all our problems of sin are solved by our faith in the Word of Truth.
God has appeared to all people through His Word. The 66 individual books of the Old and New Testament of the Bible are the very Word of God. Thus, if we believe in the love of God by believing first in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, we come to meet with God. Hence, this Word of the Bible is the very Word of God. The most mysterious and wonderful fact is that all our sins can be blotted out and we can become God’s people when we believe with our hearts in the gospel Word of the water and the Spirit. We are truly led to God when we believe in the gospel Word of the water and the Spirit, which is the very Word of God. Truly, having faith in the Holy Word of God means living with the faith in the gospel Word of the water and the Spirit, which is the Truth of God.

When you thought...

"A message every adult should read because children are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say."When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator, and . . . . I immediately wanted to paint another one. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a stray cat , and I learned that it was good . . . . . . to be kind to animals. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my favorite cake for me, and I learned that . . the little things can be the special things in life. When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a prayer, and I knew that there is a God I. . . . could always talk to, and I learned to trust in Him. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a meal and take it to a friend who was sick, . . and I learned that we all have to help take care of each other. When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you give of your time and money to help people who had nothing, and. . I learned that those who have something should give to those who don't.When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care of our house and everyone in it, and . . . I learned we have to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't feel good, and I learned that I would have to be responsible when I grow up. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come from your eyes, and I learned that . . . . . sometimes things hurt, but it's all right to cry. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you cared, and I wanted to be everything that I . . . . . could be. When you thought I wasn't looking I learned most of life's lessons that I need to know to be a. . . . . good and productive person when I grow up.When you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and wanted to say, 'Thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn't looking.

"Each of us (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher, friend) influences the life of a child."How will you touch the life of someone today? You will. . . . . probably make them at least think about their influence on others."Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly."" Leave the rest to God! "

Why Did Jesus Christ Come to This World in the Flesh of Man?

Jesus Christ came to this world to deliver sinners from all their sins by totally receiving the judgments for all the sins of humanity through His baptism. Put differently, He became a human being to deliver all of humanity from all their sins. Then, was it really possible for Jesus Christ to become a mortal creature? It was possible because Jesus Christ the true God came as a human being. Thus, Jesus Christ was the God of Mercy as well as the Son of God. Because He much loved us His own created humans so much, He came to this world as the Savior according to His Father’s will. Jesus Christ came to expunge all sins of humanity which has separated us from God the Father. Jesus Christ necessarily had to become a human being in order to deliver sinners from all their sins. He came to all humanity as a human being through the body of the Virgin Mary just like He had promised.
Yet, so many people these days say words of disbeliefs. People doubt how a virgin could possibly give birth to a baby. Still, God had come to this world as a human being just like it was promised through the prophet Isaiah some 2700 years ago from now. Quoting from Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23 says, “‘Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,’ which is translated, ‘God with us.’” Jesus Christ came to this world through the body of a virgin just like it was promised.
Scientifically speaking, the question is how a virgin can give birth to a baby without going through the natural process. If you asked me if it is possible, I would answer, “No.” However, it is possible because Jesus is fundamentally God. He had such absolute power and authority. Why should He do so? It was necessary because man has been deceived by Satan the Devil, and we all have fallen deep into sin. Specifically to deliver us from all the sins of the world, the Lord had to come in the flesh of man just like ours through the body of a virgin.
Do you understand the message I am trying to convey to you? If we think from our fleshly perspective, what I am saying does not make any sense. However, God is speaking through the Word of the Bible that “He was in the world” and that “the people did not accept Him when He came to this world.” Thus, only by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit is such understanding possible.

A girl without a heart!

MIAMI – D'Zhana Simmons says she felt like a "fake person" for 118 days when she had no heart beating in her chest. "But I know that I really was here," the 14-year-old said, "and I did live without a heart."
As she was being released Wednesday from a Miami hospital, the shy teen seemed in awe of what she's endured. Since July, she's had two heart transplants and survived with artificial heart pumps — but no heart — for four months between the transplants.
Last spring D'Zhana and her parents learned she had an enlarged heart that was too weak to sufficiently pump blood. They traveled from their home in Clinton, S.C. to Holtz Children's Hospital in Miami for a heart transplant.
But her new heart didn't work properly and could have ruptured so surgeons removed it two days later.
And they did something unusual, especially for a young patient: They replaced the heart with a pair of artificial pumping devices that kept blood flowing through her body until she could have a second transplant.
Dr. Peter Wearden, a cardiothoracic surgeon at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh who works with the kind of pumps used in this case, said what the Miami medical team managed to do "is a big deal."
"For (more than) 100 days, there was no heart in this girl's body? That is pretty amazing," Wearden said.
The pumps, ventricular assist devices, are typically used with a heart still in place to help the chambers circulate blood. With D'Zhana's heart removed, doctors at Holtz Children's Hospital crafted substitute heart chambers using a fabric and connected these to the two pumps.
Although artificial hearts have been approved for adults, none has been federally approved for use in children. In general, there are fewer options for pediatric patients. That's because it's rarer for them to have these life-threatening conditions, so companies don't invest as much into technology that could help them, said Dr. Marco Ricci, director of pediatric cardiac surgery at the University of Miami.
He said this case demonstrates that doctors now have one more option.
"In the past, this situation could have been lethal," Ricci said.
And it nearly was. During the almost four months between her two transplants, D'Zhana wasn't able to breathe on her own half the time. She also had kidney and liver failure and gastrointestinal bleeding.
Taking a short stroll — when she felt up for it — required the help of four people, at least one of whom would steer the photocopier-sized machine that was the external part of the pumping devices.
When D'Zhana was stable enough for another operation, doctors did the second transplant on Oct. 29.
"I truly believe it's a miracle," said her mother, Twolla Anderson.
D'Zhana said now she's grateful for small things: She'll see her five siblings soon, and she can spend time outdoors.
"I'm glad I can walk without the machine," she said, her turquoise princess top covering most of the scars on her chest. After thanking the surgeons for helping her, D'Zhana began weeping.
Doctors say she'll be able to do most things that teens do, like attending school and going out with friends. She will be on lifelong medication to keep her body from rejecting the donated heart, and there's a 50-50 chance she'll need another transplant before she turns 30.
For now, though, D'Zhana is looking forward to celebrating another milestone. On Saturday, she turns 15 and plans to spend the day riding in a boat off Miami's coast.

Quotable Quotes!

“Happiness keeps you sweet,
Trials make you strong,
Sorrows keep you human,
Failures keep you humble,
Success makes you eager,
But, JESUS makes you a winner.”

“Quite moment – worship God
Difficult moment – seek God
Painful moment – trust God
Happy moment – praise God
Every moment – thank God.”

“The strongest man have the worst problems:
…the worst trials…
…the worst situations…
It’s not because God wants them to suffer,
But it’s because God trusts them so much,
He gave them something He knows….
…they can overcome….and something that would help them…
…realized that everybody can be your companion…
…but not everyone can be your friend!

Be thankful for God’s trials,
…they are His gift to strong people.

“For all the negative things we say to ourselves,
God has a positive answer to it:
…you say: it is impossible,
God says; “all things are possible!” (Luke 18:27)
…you say: I’m too tired,
God says; “I will give you rest!” (Matt. 11:28)
…you say: nobody really loves me,
God says; “I love you!” (John 3:16)
…you say: I can’t do it,
God says; “I can do all things!” (Phil. 4:13)
…you say: I fell alone,
God says; “I will never leave you nor forsake you!” (Heb. 13:5)
…you say: I’m afraid,
God says; “I have not given you a spirit of fear!” (2Tim. 1:17)

So… we must always arm ourself with faith!

We Must Be Born of God

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, ‘This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’’ And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.”

We have to believe in Jesus Christ our Savior, who came by the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit, in order to receive salvation from all our sins. John 1:10 says, “He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.” Here, the phrase “He was in the world” implies that Jesus Christ has actually existed in this world. The Lord is the Creator of this world. Thus, the Creator of this world came to the creatures He had created and lived together with among them. However, everyone in this world, not even the Jews, recognized Him as the Savior.Jesus was the God who spoke to us of the gospel Word of the water and the Spirit. Jesus Christ was in this world, and this world was created by Him. Yet, we did not recognize Him as the Lord and Savior. Even now, Jesus Christ has come by the gospel of the water and the Spirit to the world He Himself has created, but there are more people who reject Jesus than accept as their Savior. Many people of this world did neither know nor acknowledge that Jesus is God the Creator of the universe and the Savior, who has expunged all their sins. They must realize how they are indifferent and ignorant of Jesus so far, and must return to Him by believing in God’s own gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit.

What a night out!

Last night, Doy and I went to visit our inaanak (god daughter) Nicole. Its always good to see her because she made us laugh by her little always new tricks. I enjoyed going visiting her almost every night. I also hang out with other friends by watching tv together (because we dont have tv yet) kind of... a girl thing, and Doy would hang out with the boys, ...ofcourse looking for some good guitar on the internet or watching bitoy's youtube's uploads which very guy thing.
Well, they also ate balut last night.
Time has come for me and Doy to went home... but before going home... we feel like seeing Luneta Park so indeed we drove heading there. But before we reach Luneta our motor broke down. It doesn't want to start. So... what happen was... Doy pushes our motorbike from infront of Diamond hotel to our place....where it took us almost two ours. Just imagine how big our motorbike is compare to how skinny is Doy....kind of hilarious.
We went to bed at almost three o'clock in the morning because of that. and we promise not to do a "joy ride" at night again. What a night indeed!

Believe and Receive...

(against all hope, Abrahan in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it has been said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead----since he was about a hundred years old----and that Sarah's womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthen in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.) Romans 4:18-21.

These verse are a great encouragement to those of us who have ever had endure long periods of waiting before we saw the fulfillment of God's promises to us. The emphasis here is upon the fact that Abraham's situation was completely hopeless. Yet, he believed God's promise to give him a son in his old age. It was many years before God fulfilled this promise to Abraham, and he made some mistakes during those years. still these verse don't mention Abraham's doubt but focus instead on his faith. That fact should encourage us, too. Though we may struggle with our own doubts from time to time, if we hold on to God's promises, we will receive our rewards just Abraham did.

If you are not feeling very hopeful to day that God's promises to you will ever come to pass, I urge you to hold on to your faith. The Living Bible says that Abraham "praised God for his blessing even before it happened." If you'll begin thanking God right now for the fulfillment of those promises that look like they'll never come to pass, your faith will grow by leaps and bounds and you will delight the heart of God.

Personal views:
...we too struggle a lot on the area of waiting upon the fulfillment of God's promise blessings. Its hard to wait specially if you are in great needs. But knowing that God is in full control of everything gives us comfort and relief.

Early Mornings...

Every Blessing that YOU poured out...turns back to Praise...!

I woke up very early this morning early as four o'clock. Part of me would like to go back to sleep, but, part of me would like to get up and pray. And since it seems a long time already that I haven't prayed early in the morning... so I chose and forced myself to sit down and talk to Him. And when I was to pray, I pause for awhile to remember all the things I needed to pray for. But, something happen to me because I was being reminded of the Lord that why I am like that all the time... that whenever I need something I would really seek God and ask for His favor but when life is okay, my prayer life is not okay. And when was the last time that I wake up early and just worship Him without asking for anything?.... I was ashamed of myself...and yes...what I did this morning was just worship God for...who He is!

The Helper of Israel:

"But you, O Israel my servant,

Jacob, whom I have chosen,

you descendants of Abraham my friend,

I took you from the ends of the earth,

from its farthest corners I called you.

I said, 'You are my servant';

I have chosen you and have not rejected you.

So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you in my righteous right hand.

(Isaiah 41:8-10)

This is part of my devotion this morning. May it also brighten up your day as you read!

Dream Big Dreams...

Every Blessing that YOU poured out...turns back to Praise...!

This is all by that comes by hearing...hearing the WORD of GOD!

I went to our office today to meet my friend to discuss about some plans that involves millions of money... yes!... millions of peso. This quite impossible to believe but I used to listen to my ever dearest pastor Gani telling us to dream big dreams.... dreams that only the miracle of God can do. Because when we do that, we could only rely on the power of God to move our way and there is no way that we will get the honor and glory. An he told us too that, "Is there anything too hard for the Lord?... with God nothing is impossible!".

So today Pen and I were discussing to put up a building worth ten million pesos. and we even have the building plans ready already. This building will be used as a student center, an office and a dorm. Through this building a lot of youth that is part of our ministry will be able to go back to school. Others will be employed. And students will be ministered. This will also help finance our ministries and support our missionaries. ohhh, this would be a big help! To tell you, we are no millionaire, we are just mere missionaries that don't earn money, but still we believe that God will be able to do this for us. We probably looks like crazy to the eyes of some... but yes we are crazy indeed because we believe that our dream will come to pass one day by the power and the wealth of our dear Father.

By faith I command money from all over the world to come unto us, millions of money, to be used for the glory of God.

Nothing Is Too Hard for HIM!

Is there anything too hard for the Lord?

{See how the siege ramps are built up to take the City. Because of the sword, famine and plague, the City will be handed over to the Babylonians who are attacking it. What you said has happened, as you now see. And though the City will be handed over to the Babylonians, you, O Sovereign Lord, say to me, "Buy the field with silver and have the transaction witnessed." Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: "I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:24-26)}

Why did God have Jeremiah buy land at a time when Jerusalem was under seige by the Babylonians? He wanted the prophet to focus, not on the trials at hand, but on God's promise of restoration for the future. Jeremiah's purchase was an act of faith in God's promise.

Perhaps today you're in a trial of your own and you're having doubts about God fulfilling His seemingly impossible promise to you. If so, I pray that you will be inspired by Jeremiah's example. God expects a lot from His children. He often asks us to demonstrate our trust in Him even when it seems that we are up against insurmountable odds. But let me reassure you today that if it takes a miracle for the Lord to fulfill His promises to you, our God is able and He will do it. Today, God is asking you---- "Is anything too hard for Me?" If you can answer Him, "No, Lord" then your miracle is on its way!

story of the one....

Central Park Baptist Church
Last July of this year, a team from Central Park Baptist Church (CPBC), based in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada came to work with the YM team. The team, composing of 6 adults and 7 young people, tirelessly and wholeheartedly gave their best in ministering to various church partners and participating in different activities with the YM Team from the 2nd of July to the 16th.
Their team is very unique says their youth leader Christianne, the wife of Andrew Rutledge, CPBC’s youth pastor. Unique in such a way that their energy and enthusiasm are really contagious and the YM team really appreciates their willingness to serve in any way.
On the other hand, I took notice of one of them because she was a little different. She doesn't always talk and she will just sit in a corner and read her book while the others are busy. When you take a picture of her, she won’t smile and you won’t see any reaction in her face at all. She loves to be alone. She has a lot of piercing too and she loves to wear black.
I started to really get curios about her. So in my desire to get to know her more, I did some asking. From what I gathered, back home in Canada, let’s just say that she is not heading in the direction where her parents want her to go. Even going to school is a bit of a struggle for her and she was also getting into the worldly things that many youth are involved in right now. So joining the mission team didn't mean a thing to her and the only reason why she came is because her parents said so.
The good news is, the Lord works in mighty ways, and He has a definite plan to breakthrough in her life. Their team was scheduled to help a church in General Trias, Cavite (about two hours from Manila) do a "Daily Vacation Bible School". Then something amazing happened to her. One morning while everybody was busy preparing for the day, she went outside and started dancing and singing with the kids. For the first time, she was smiling and laughing! Everyone was speechless and couldn't believe what they saw. Her youth leader almost cried because their efforts for her proved to be not in vain. Their prayers were answered! Their mission trip in Manila really changed the life of their dear sister.
The impact of their time in Cavite showed in the sad faces of the children when their time to leave came. All the children cried as well as our dear sister. Just like how all the children felt, she wanted her time with the kids to never end. What a great impact indeed that she and her whole mission team left those children that up to this point, the church has continued the ministry they have started with the kids. Moreover, what a greater impact those children had on her that she became a different person after her mission experience.
When they head back to Canada after 14 days, we couldn’t help it but to say goodbye with tears in everyone’s eyes. All experienced mixed emotions - sad but happy knowing a life has been changed by God again through missions. Wanting to keep all of them here but sent them home with an expectant heart believing in our hearts that whatever they experienced here will always be a treasure in their hearts. They will never be the same again! To God be the glory, who never gets tired of changing us through HIS love and compassion!

Doctor no!!

I love this Doctor

Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true? A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables? A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake? A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio? A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc. Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program? A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you? A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! .... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle? A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me? A: Are you crazy? HELLO Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure? 'If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me. Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle? A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!

Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

And remember:
'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'
this is something to read and laugh about after a busy day.

Torn between two lovers...

Have you ever felt being in love with two different lovers and can’t decide whom to choose because each one has this unique personality that you really admire. I remember when I was young age six or seven I think, I remember that our neighbor has two girlfriends and both of them were not only gorgeous but also came from a well off family. So he really can’t decide whom to pick because he also loved them both. And you know what?… the next time I knew was… the two were both crying so hard above his lifeless body. He killed himself because of being torn between two lovers! What a sad story.

We (my hubby and I) may torn between two loved ones, but I am assuring you that we wont end up killing ourselves…hahaha!..probably if we don’t know Jesus yet…it might happen. But knowing that HE has the full control of everything here on earth has nothing to worry about. We say we are torn because we are in the middle of two parties whom we loved much in our lives.. they have unsettled misunderstanding…each one has its own point. We consider this two as our very own family and they are so much a part of our lives. From day one to forevermore. Its hard for us to see them not in good terms with each other. ....Are we affected with their misunderstanding?.... Our answer is… YES! very much. Only God knows how much…thanks to Jesus who is the comforter of those who are grieving!
Can’t wait for the day that the Lord will make all things beautiful in His time.
…for to us… “every relationship is worth restoring…”

Every Blessing that YOU poured out...turns back to Praise...!

We are blessed to welcome another youth missionary to our team. He is Chinese-Canadian guy. He grew up in Toronto Canada but his dad is from Hong Kong, China. He joined our team as a missionary. He arrived last Oct. 28, 2008. He is staying here for two months. He came to see and witness, on what God is doing here in the Philippines. He heard a lot of stories though but he wanted to see and experience it himself.

...good old friends...

This is very personal and has sentimental touch to my hubby.
When he was browsing songs from our computer this morning…he found out more old songs from a file which we both don’t know its there. When he listen to some familiar songs…memories from the past came alive. He misses his band “SOULJAHS” a lot. He said its really different when you are around old good times friends.
But everyone has different role to play in life. Thanks to God that somehow he brought everyone together to establish a bond of friendship. Indeed all relationship whatever it is…. Is worth restoring.
My hubby were blessed with a new electric guitar, just recently bought.. which is a dream come true to him. And he once told me that he’d wish he was using this guitar then… when they were having concerts and him playing the lead guitar.
To all of us…may God greatly be blessed in our life as we continue to serve HIM! ate raquel....

Every Blessing that YOU poured out...turns back to Praise...!

I cant hardly believe that its only almost five years that we know each other because to me its seems lifetime. She is the ate I long for…the ate I never had… the ate I prayed for to have. She is just one in a million kind of person…very easy and comfortable to be with. A lot of like me…would love to hang out and chat with her just anything under the sun. She was there when life was sucks and critical. She was there to help and sort out things. I could never imagine life without her. I would love to inquire things from here…specially something very girly and cheesy. She never is…selfish. She loves to give and give and give but very seldom she receives from those she gives.
I was once told someone that I would like to follow where she lives… I mean liveclose to her. Hahaha.
May the Lord bless her and look at her with more favor. May God water all the dry are of her life.

Pen and Bobz...on the run!

Last September 17, 2008 another team member arrived from Skatchewan, Canada. She’s eighteen years old. She just graduated from high school. And for me she’s very young to go out of her comfort zone and be a part of a missions team here in the Philippines. She loves to draw, paint, play piano and a lot more…and by the way…in all of these… she’s really good.
Her name is Robynn Connie Irene Carter, the eldest among three siblings. Her parents are very supporting in her choice of life as long as it will do good to her and will bring glory to God. Her dad is a pastor and her mom is a teacher.
She’d been here for a month and she helps with Pen in the “Partnership Department”. What they do is… they go from one church to another and from one place to another to offer the YM partnership. They travel a lot specially when they do training and seminars. Robynn and Pen just enjoyed traveling together.
So now that there’s the two of them…we just know that there would be more churches to visit for teams. Thanks guys for all your effort and perseverance. May God bless you…more than you ask or imagine.

Coffee and Cookies!

One of my wildest dream ever…is to bake a chocolate fudge cookies. A friend of mine told me that she saw some tips on how to make cookies and all I have to do is search it in the internet. So… I indeed follow my friend advice. All I can say is…”ohhh mmmyyy!” there’s lots and I want to do it all. And what made me almost passed out was… there’s coffee in the cookies. You might wonder why I am so frantic about having coffee in the cookies is because I love coffee a lot. This is just so perfect for me. And I can share this cookies with my friends who love coffee too. Coffee lovers like ate rocks, j-mie and pen.
This cookie is a chocolate lover's delight. Not only are they made with a whole pound of chocolate, but they also contain both white and dark chocolate chips with a bit of espresso powder. You will recognize them by their distinctive shiny cracked surface which reveals a dark, soft textured interior. It is important to use a high quality, semi sweet or bittersweet chocolate that you enjoy eating out-of-hand because the flavor of the chocolate takes center stage.

You will notice that this cookie batter is not like most where we cream the butter and sugar and then beat in the eggs and flour. Instead, the batter is made by whipping air into the sugar and eggs (similar to a sponge cake batter). Melted butter and chocolate, along with just a little flour, are then folded in. The batter does need to be chilled so it is firm enough to form into cookies. You could make the batter a day ahead if you like. The important thing with these cookies is not to over bake them or they will be dry. They are done when the surface of the cookies have cracked but they are still shiny. You may want to bake one or two testers to get an accurate baking time. These cookies are best the day they are made but they can be stored in an airtight container for a day or two. Since this recipe does make 24 large cookies, you may want to half the recipe.

The Gift

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study.
His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him.
He handed his son a beautifully wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold. Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible? and stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.
Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse: Matt 7:11 , "And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?" As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words... PAID IN FULL. >
How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this.

Rubber bands!

I Love Rubber Bands

By Bo Sanchez
Let me tell you a crazy story I heard recently. There' s this husband who out of sheer love for his wife decided to prove it to her. So he swam the widest oceans, crossed the deepest rivers, and climbed the highest mountains to show his deep devotion to her. But in the end, she divorced him.
Why? Because he was never home.(Get it?)
Let me tell you an experience I had as a kid. One day, I asked Mom, "Why do my shoes keep eating my socks?" As a young boy, that was always a mystery for me. All my other classmates never had that problem. Their socks remained tight and high up their legs the entire day.
Mom didn't answer my question but simply gave me two rubber bands which I dutifully placed around the top of my socks. To this day, fifteen years later, I still have permanent circle marks around my legs. But aside from giving me this slight defect, the two bands worked like magic.
It never occurred to me that Dad and Mom didn't have the money to buy a new pair of socks for me. So I wore five-year-old socks, all soggy, grayish, and garter less. And yet amazingly, I never complained. I believe it was because Dad was always home when I needed him. Every night, after coming from work, we'd jog together, sit around, and talk about Tarzan, Farrah Fawcett Majors,God, and what I wanted to be when I grew up (a stockholder) . On Saturdays, we'd walk to Cubao, eat a hotdog-on-a- stick, and buy new rubber bands before going home.
I've learned that in truth, we don't want our loved ones to show their love for us in big ways. Swimming the widest oceans, crossing the deepest rivers, and climbing the highest mountains seem spectacular - but that's not what we really want. Deep in our hearts, we just want them home. With us.
Sometimes, God will operate that way. Suddenly, He decides not to answer our prayers, or fill our need, or heal our sickness, or give us the miracle we're asking for. (He's got reasons why He won't, and believe me - they're pretty good ones.) So He'll just be there beside you, holding you in a hug. Sharing your pain. Weeping as you weep. Oh, He might give you some rubber bands. And that small comfort from Him will be more than enough to sustain you. Because the most essential truth you already know.

Life's Choices! (joke of life)..

By: Bo Sanchez

Let me tell you a story. Three construction workers were on top of their half-finished skyscraper. Rrrrring!" the lunch bell sounded, and the three men sat on a steel beam jutting out of the 56th floor with their lunch boxes in hand.
The first guy opens his and groans in exasperation, "Tuyo!" There is not a day that I don't get tuyo for lunch!" He turns to his buddies and announces, "Mark my words. If I still get tuyo tomorrow, I'm going to throw myself from this building."
The second guy opens his lunch box and moans, "Tinapa". Everyday, I get tinapa!" He looks at his friends and declares, "Believe me when I say this. If I get tinapa tomorrow, I'm going to jump and kil! l myself."
The third guy opens his lunch box and it was his turn to despair. "Galunggong" . All I get is galunggong!" I'm telling you, if I still get galunggong tomorrow, I'm going to jump from this building and die."
The next day, the lunch bell rings and all three men are again seated on the 56th floor. The first guy opens his lunch box and starts crying, "Tuyoooooo!" And so he jumps and crashes on the ground.
The second guy opens his lunch box and wails loudly, "Tinapaaaa!" And he also hurls himself off the building and dies.
The third guy opens his lunch box and screams, "Galunggonggggg! " And so he too jumps off the building and splatters on the ground.
Days later, during the funeral of the three men, their three wives embrace and weep together. The first wife cries out, "I didn't know my husband didn't like tuyo anymore! Why didn't he tell me? If only he told me, I would have prepared something else."
The second wife echoes her statement, "Yes! If only I knew, I would have cooked something else, not tinapa!"
The third wife, between sobs, speaks up, "I don't know why my husband killed himself." The two wives look at her curiously. "Why?" She went on, "Because ... my husband prepares his own lunch everyday..."
I love this crazy story because it presents a very important truth: all of us prepare our own lunch. If we don't like our jobs, if we don't like the state of our relationships, if! we don't like what's happening to our spiritual lives - we have no one to blame but ourselves. Because God has given us free will. He has given us the power to prepare our own lunch.
If you want to earn more and be free from debt, if you're sick and tired of your bad habits, if we want to put more joy in our marriages, if we want to grow in our relationship with God - then go back to your kitchen and prepare yourself another dish. Because you design your own future. You create your own destiny. Ask yourself what kind of future do you want to have? What kind of life ? What kind of eternity? You decide.

Thanks to kuya Josh!

being important!

By Philip Harrelson

There are times that I really get wrapped up with being important. I mean those times when I am so into the importance thing that the whole world finds it’s orbit around me. I know that you may find that hard to believe, that “importance” could have such a dizzying effect on me but it does.
But there is something that is lost when our lives become dictated by the Covey “Habit’s.” We have a tendency to lose touch with humanity and the hurts, stresses, anxieties, and pressures that they battle with day-in and day-out. When we lose touch with those pressures that come from the pews, we become empire builders instead of kingdom builders. When I get busy intersecting flights, reserving hotel rooms, planning events, and just being important, I lose touch with what God wants for my life.
God does not want me to be important, He wants me to do His will and His will is never a mystery. His will is to do the best serving where I am when the need arises. Importance will rob you of a miracle. One of the most notable examples of this is Namaan. He almost did not get his healing because he was too important to dip in the muddy Jordan. I wonder how many miracles that I have circumvented miracles in my own life by being important.
Importance is summed up at the Last Supper when the Lord knelt down, girded with a towel, and washed all of the disciples feet. Maybe I had known it but somehow it had escaped me for all of these years that Jesus washed the feet of Judas before the supper ever began. He washed the man’s feet who was going to betray him. That is what importance really is. It is serving the Judas Kiss. It is serving the betrayer. It is ministering to the deserter.
I kind of can relate to this testimony. Sometimes I, too are being caught up of feeling very important person. I just totally forgot that the reason why I am doing this ministry…it’s because of the Lord and never about me. Thanks to HIM who always direct us into the right attitude of doing our job.
